The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) administration, in cooperation with the Turkish Grants Department, is pleased to announce the call for applications for the Islamic Bank for Development Scholarships in Turkey for the year 2021-2022 on March 15, 2021.
The jointly funded scholarship program is awarded to successful candidates for studies at most universities in Turkey, starting in September 2021.
The program is designed to provide educational opportunities for academically distinguished students from member states and Islamic societies in non-member countries to pursue full-time study to obtain bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees with the aim of building appropriate competencies required with a special focus on sustainability sciences to empower societies and assist them in achieving national and global development plans, including This includes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The scholarship is fully funded as the scholarship covers tuition fees, a monthly stipend, accommodation, health insurance, and round-trip air tickets.
A doctoral student gets a salary of 2,600 Turkish liras per month
A master’s student gets a salary of 2,100 pounds per month
A bachelor’s student gets a salary of 1800 TL per month
The scholarship will also cover the study of the Turkish language for students who have obtained admission to programs taught in the Turkish language

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Islamic bank scholarship are completely subject to the conditions and criteria of the Islamic bank. You can view the eligibility criteria for each degree through the following link: here
Note: Most of the programs in Turkish universities are taught in Turkish. However, the candidate who wants to study in English must provide evidence of language proficiency (TOEFL or other equivalent certificates). Most of these programs require international entrance test scores, such as GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc. Candidates must check the language of instruction while selecting the program in the application system.
